Book Week

This week we have been celebrating book week at Baby Ducks. We have been doing lots of different things including a second hand book sale, cake sale, reading and doing activities linked to some of the children's favourite books.

The children have also been dressing up, firstly in their pyjamas ...

and then again as characters from books ...

A big thank you to anyone that brought in a copy of one of the 'That's not my...' books for us to read this week, at last count we had 10 different titles but we are still counting as we will continue with these books through to the end of March.

The NEW Climbing Frame!

The children have really enjoyed playing on the new climbing frame. This was one of the items purchased with the money we raised at the summer fair. Many thanks to everyone that came and helped us have such a great day and raise much needed funds. We also managed to book 6 sessions with Brighton Soft Play for this year (one per half term) with the rest of the money which is an activity which proved very popular with the children in the summer term last year. We will let you know the date for these sessions very soon.

Empty Baby Wipe Packets

We're recycling empty baby wipe packets to raise money for 'Ellie's Fund', they will receive an average of 2p per item & the £££ go to a brain tumour research laboratory in Yorkshire.

So please could you bring in any empty baby wipe packets. These can be any brand even supermarket own brands.

ALL OF THE MONEY RAISED FROM THESE COLLECTIONS GOES TO RESEARCH INTO BRAIN TUMOURS.
