Messy but fun!

This afternoon the children really enjoyed cutting shapes out of the pumpkin!

Even if it was a bit messy ...

it was all worth it when the candle was put in ...

Tatty Bumpkin

Today the children have enjoyed yoga session with 'Tatty Bumpkin'

The children really loved the story, stretching and dancing. At the end they even had some quiet time to recap the story.

It was so much fun that we have booked another session for November.

Our new kitchen!

Last week the children helped put together our new kitchen.

They had great fun, reading the instructions, sorting out all of the pieces and helping to screw it all together

They were really excited about what each piece could be and even more excited when they saw the finished kitchen.

The arrival of the new Baby Ducks bus!

Last Friday I made the trip to pick up our new bus! When I say bus I actually mean a six seater buggy!

As you can see its pretty big and has been kindly donated by Blueberry Nursery in Davigdor Road, Hove! Having got it up the road to the station the first big problem was getting it onto the train!

Fortunately it was a quiet train as there was not much space. Then it was the simple issue of pushing it up to the Parish Centre - unfortunately one of the brakes and become stuck and made it a bit of a struggle, which was made worth it when the children saw the 'duck bus' for the first time!

Time for the first ride ...

Hopefully it should make some of the trips out much easier in the future!
